Sometimes a home just needs a good clean-up before guests arrive. That's exactly what we were out in Forest Hills handling - exterior window cleaning, screen cleaning, and interior track cleaning on this classic two-story home.
The front of this place has a lot of glass. Between the upper-level windows, the flanking panes on each side of the front door, and the shuttered dormers, there's a lot of surface area to cover. Every pane matters, because dirty windows on a nice home like this stick out more than people realize.
Out back is where things get a little more involved. The rear of the home has a mix of large picture windows, french doors, and multi-pane upper windows - all at different heights and angles. We worked through all of it. The tracks and screens get just as much attention as the glass itself, because that's what separates a thorough clean from a quick wipe-down.
The detail work is what homeowners notice most once we're done. Bright, clean glass changes the way natural light moves through a home. Rooms feel fresher. The whole place looks sharper from the outside. It's one of those improvements that's hard to describe until you actually see it.
We take this kind of work seriously whether it's a regular maintenance clean or a one-time prep job before a big weekend. Either way, the goal is the same - every window done right, no streaks, no missed spots.
