We had a full day out in Grand Rapids hitting several different homes - each one with its own setup and its own challenges. Large picture windows, multi-story facades, enclosed sunrooms, and roof-mounted skylights. No two houses were the same, but the goal was identical across all of them: clean glass, no streaks, nothing left behind.

Skylights are one of those things homeowners almost never think about until they notice how dingy the light coming through has gotten. Getting up on the roof and cleaning them properly takes the right equipment and someone who actually knows what they're doing up there. We take care to clean the glass thoroughly without damaging the frame or the surrounding roofing material - it makes a real difference in how much light gets into the space below.

The window work itself covered everything from ground-floor standard windows to tall second-story glass and large sunroom panels. Homes with a lot of glass square footage tend to accumulate grime in ways that aren't always obvious until you get close. Once the glass is clean, the difference is hard to miss - both from the outside and from inside the house.

Different home styles came through on this run too. A modern farmhouse-style build with clean white siding and black trim, a multi-level home with large wraparound glass panels, and a more traditional setup with skylights built right into the roofline. Each one got the same level of attention regardless of size or complexity. That's just how we approach the work.

Grand Rapids has no shortage of great homes with a lot of glass - and glass that goes ignored for too long tends to show it. Whether it's a single-story home with a dozen windows or a two-story with skylights and a sunroom, we handle it all and we do it right.
